This is a superb introduction to trekking in Nepal among some of the most stunning scenery, with rich tamang culture Many years ago Nepal fought with Tibet for salt and some of the major areas where this war took place is in the Langtang Region of Nepal, where fabrication the third most popular trekking trail in Nepal. This area is associated to Tibet and the trails in this region were used by traders from Tibet bartering in Salt and mountain goats for meat (changra) with foodstuffs from the south. The people of this region are mostly Tibetans who came from Kerung in Tibet across the border. Trek starts from Syabrubensi Langtang region and trek end also syabrubensi then return to by bus or private vehicle to Kathmandu. It is unique and cultural trekking as well as natural beautiful trekking.

Day- 1:  Arrival in Kathmandu - 1,350,m/4,264 ft

You will be greeted in airport by the staffs of Brave Heart Himalaya Treks, After completing your custom formalities (Visa, check,etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with play board of Brave Heart Himalaya Treks,You will be transferred to the Hotel .Then you can have rest,go for hang around the place near by, Later in the evening our company organize a "Welcome Dinner at any restaurant.

Day- 2:  Kathmandu Sightseeing and Preparation for Trek:

Your second day after breakfast you start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. The day will also be for finalizing official procedure and other necessary arrangements. You will be also briefed on the nature of the trek, equipments and team composition. Some of landmarks you visit include the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath). and some Hindu temples then afternoon, there will be a short discussion where you can meet our trek  Guide and other staff members. You can also make your last minute buying of personal items for the trek in the Himalaya from tomorrow.

Day- 3:  Drive to Syabrubesi (1,550,m/5,100,ft): 145 km/ 8-9 hrs

  You will take breakfast early morning then we drive out along the north-western hills of Kathmand valley. you will  Enjoy the Himalayan views and mountainous lifestyle through the terraced fields and rustic villages. Take Lunch at the Trishuli Bazar before continuing further to Dhunche. From Dhunche, we descend down to Syabrubesi. (B L D)

Day- 4:  Trek Syabru Besi - Gatlang (2,200,m/7,217,ft.): 4 to 5 hours 

Your trek starts From Syabru, hike across the Goljung Village.  Enjoy the views of the Mt, Ganesh Himalaya range,Shishapangma, Langtang Lirung  etc.Gatlang is a small village on the hillside with the traditional stone houses. An overnight at Gatlang village.

Day- 5:  Gatlang – Tatopani (2620,m/8570 ft): 6-7 hrs

Today's trek begins with a descent to Thangbuchet. Enjoy the magnificent views of the Ganesh Himal and Langtang Himalaya Ranges. Passing by the Chilime Hydropower dam, you ascend the trail until you reach Tatopani (hot water)you dip into the natural hot water to relax your tired and pained muscles. 

Day- 6:  Tatopani-Thuman (2,410,m/7,900 ft) via Brimdang village and Nagthali: 6 hrs 

This day you trek from Tatopani to Thuman via Brimdang and Nagthali. Passing through the dense alpine forest, you reach the small Tamang village of Brimdang. Then a few hours walk uphill, you arrive at Nagthali hill. you can enjoy the fantastic views of Langtang, Sanjen,  Kerung, Ganesh Himal ranges. Then trek all the way downhill to the Tamang village of Thuman.  

Day-7:  Thuman – Briddim (2,330,m/7,683 ft): 6 hrs 

Your trek continues to Briddim village from Thuman via Lingling.  Briddim is a Tibetan Buddhist village on lap of the Langtang Himal. Visit the Dukchu Gomba. Most of the houses in Briddim are built from the stone.The village mostly Inhabited by  people of Tibetan origin. Briddim resembles a typical Tibetan village on this side of village. 

Day-8:  Briddim – Lamahotel (2470,m/7090,ft: 6 hrs

This day you trek from Briddim to Lama Hotel. The trail descends to the Ghopche Khola,(stream) There after you ascend to Lamahotel via Rimche.  Lama Hotel is situated on the banks of the Langtang River and surrounded by the forests and mountains. 

Day- 9:  Lama hotel- Langtang village (3,430,m/11,253,ft): 6,hrs

 Your trail continues along dense forests. After making a steady climb up hill through the valley, you enter to the dry land area.  You enjoy the marvelous views of Langtang Lirung and some other little mountains. you will Pass by grinding water  mills, prayer wheels, chortens and some other mane walls with nice carving on it. 

Day-10:  Lantang-Kyanjin Gompa (3,870,m/12,700,ft): 3 hrs 

After breakfast and tea you  go out of the village and pass on through yak pastures. Pass the largest mani wall also, made from stone with prayers written on them. The prayers written on the mani walls is supposed to be blown away by the wind.  Cross several of the wooden bridges along the way.  Kyanjin Gompa is surrounded by the Himalayas all around. You can take a walk around Kanjin Gompa enjoying the views, glaciers, ice falls, birds,yaks and other different wild animals.

Day- 11: Back to Lama Hotel (2,378,m/7,828,ft): 4/5 hrs    

We get back to Lama Hotel this day,  mostly part of the trail goes  all the way downhill, you need to walk 4/ 5 hours from Kanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel. The trail goes all the way down hill through the forest following the river. Pass through the villages of Tamang people,who follow religious and cultural practices similar to the Tibetans. 

Day- 12: Back to Syaprubesi: 5 hrs    

This is  last day of your trekking. After breakfast, you trek down to Syaprubensi. it is a trail mostly downhill flat through lush green vegetation. Arriving Syaprubesi, You will get your lunch and dinner in same place.

Day- 13:  Back to Kathmandu:

After your morning breakfast, we drive back you to Kathmandu.Transfer to your hotel. Spend your  day with rest or go for shopping  gifts for your friends and family,or walk around the city. You will do farewell dinner then. 

Day- 14:  Departure to the international airport.

 Now you are missing Nepal and the Himalaya  which remain only in the pictures and your experiences,There is nothing to do but trade emails exchange with our company, You need to be at airport early approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight,a company's staff from Brave Heart Himalaya Treks will take you to the international airport. say namaste probably you will be back to Nepal Himalaya some day.

The Upper Mustang trek of Nepal is an exotic trekking to the enchanting dried landscape with ancient Tibetan villages, rare medieval Buddhist arts, the exotic culture and the unique beauty of the Himalayan desert. The medieval settlement of Upper Mustang and its capital Lo Manthang lies in the remote Himalayan desert behind the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayas ranges .Geographically the land is an extension of the Tibetan plateau, characterized by windy and airy valleys .The people in Upper Mustang are Tibetan origin, might migrated from Tibet centuries ago, and belong to Bhotias and Loba communities influenced from the Tibetan Buddhism but in administration they are known as Bista and Gurung. They practice Sakyapa concept school of Tibetan Buddhism.The only place to see Tibetan culture in completely undisturbed state the houses and monasteries in here have medieval look and unique local architecture at several hundreds year old Monastery and Gumbas. Mostly they are built with stone and sun baked mud bricks mix with the huge woods which are incredible for the visitors. the Upper Mustang has covered the land about 2600 sq km in area and is a home of 6000 people. Festivals are religious in nature, the Tiji festival being the biggest .The capital called Lo Manthang , a walled complex with the houses of local notabilities and monasteries will be one of the main attraction of the trek.Recently in 2007, an international team of explorers have discovered invaluable objects of cultural and historical importance in Upper Mustang caves. even if it is technically hard to go In high caves requiring technical climbing they have discovered beautiful Buddhist culture and historical objects around 800, years old. Now there is road access all the way up to Lomanthang and also Tibet (China) Border. so you can also drive up explore the areas and objects then you can drive back or better to trek up then drive all the way back to pokhara. you have many options.

        The Upper Mustang (special area ) Trek described here begins and ends in Kagbeni village 2:30 hrs walk to north from Jomsom  a part of Mustang , but belongs to the (ACA) Annapurna conservation Area, the special permits requires just upper part of Mustang beyond Kagbeni village. where your permits check in for the upper Mustang. The Upper Mustang is one of the extra ordinary place in the world that  the visitors have to visit this part of Nepal at least once in life time.  You have two different choices to go Kagbeni   either by Flight from pokhara  to Jomsom  or by Motor Bus or jeep. Or  if you have enough long time it would also be worthy to walk from Nayapul  near pokhara or Besisahar over Thorong-La then Visit Upper Mustang and Trek back to Jomsom and fly down to pokhara or walk all the way down to pokhara. This trekking route is guided through the government authorized trekking company, the special permit cost US$-500 per head for first 10 days then  extra US$-50, per head per day additional and needs Annapurna conservation permits also. It can be much better to have minimum 13 days time to complete this trekking or above maximum 17 days is enough to explore most things of this area.

Day- 01:  Arrive in Kathmandu [1350 m / 4264 ft]

Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu airport (KTM) you will be greeted by a representatives from Brave Heart Himalaya Treks .After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggages to the Vehicles of comapany. You will be then transferred to the any star level's hotel. Then Check after check in, you can either take a rest,or hang around in the city, In the evening we will organize a Welcome Dinner at an excellent traditional Nepalese Restaurant where you will enjoy a Nepalese cultural program as well as a fine meal. .Day- 02:  Kathmandu Sightseeing.

Today after breakfast you start tour with  our guide to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks include the World Heritage Sites: the historic Durbar Square, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world.Then back to the Hotel,discus about next day's pokhara trip.

Day- 03:  Kathmandu to Pokhara [820,m/2,700,ft]: 6 hrs drive 

Early morning at between 7 -8 am, we set off for Pokhara by company's Van or Car. we will see more of countryside of Nepal that offers greenery rivers, villages, farms and beautiful mountain scenery. Afternoon, we reach Pokhara around 1-2,pm. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, five peaks of Annapurna and many other peaks, you will be entrance in star level hotel at lakeside or the areas near by lakeside.Pokhara is city of many lakes it has 9 different beautiful lakes in the valley. This day you can explore the most accessible and beautiful, Fewa Lake during the afternoon, if you like to take a cup of tea it's up to your spontaneous,then back to the hotel where you will do small introduction program with the trek staffs then preparation for trekking.

Day- 04:  Fly to Jomsom & trek to Kagbeni [2,858,m/9,375,ft]: 3,hrs 

After an early breakfast transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Jomsom, a super scenic flight of 20 minutes over the mountains with views of 8,000ders such as Annapurna & Dhaulagiri, brings you at Jomsom, the district headquarter of Mustang. This is a large town, headquarter of the Mustang region,it is also a major village on the Kaligandaki area linking the age old Trans-Himalayan Trade route to Tibet. From Jomsom onwards it is very windy in the afternoon, Continue on the gradual path on the Kali Gandaki river bed for about 2,hrs and  reaching at Ekley-bhatti village for lunch, 40 minutes of easy walk takes you to Kagbeni, which lies at the bank of two rivers kag khola and the Kali gandaki river. Kagbeni is an interesting windswept villages situated on the main age old Trans-himalayan trade route to Tibet via Upper Mustang area. In Kagbeni a major tributory, Kag Khola, coming from Muktinath, meets kali gandaki river where you stay an over night,(B, L, D

Day- 05:  Kagbeni to chele [3070,m/10,0020,ft]: 5-6 hrs 

Your journey starts with a special permit check up wards to the road site then walk along the road or follow a river bank depends on the level of water. During the walk we have scenic picturesque place to stop through the sandy and windy trails. This trail follows mostly flat but somewhere upand down hill as well. Firstly we reach Tangbe village with narrow alleys among white washed houses, fields of buckwheat, barley, wheat and apple orchards. From there we trek forward to Chhusang where you take lunch break and  walk tio till an iron bridge over the Kali gandaki rive, after crossing the river head up to the huge red chunk of conglomerate that has fallen from the cliff above, forming a tunnel through which the Kaligandaki follows. We head on to small ridges reach at Chele village. (B, L, D)

Day- 06:  Chele to Syangmochen [3475,m/11,398,ft]: 6-7 hrs 

Today, you start trek again and walk further to Eklo Bhatti. We climb to Taklam La Pass (3,624,m/11,923 ft) through plateaus and narrow stretches with views of Tilicho Peak, Yakawa Kang and Damodar Danda. Further descend a little to the village of Samar you will  have a lunch in this beautiful village. Then the trail that goes to the ridge then descending steeply to a stream. After the stream you will ascend to the cow herd from there you find 2 different ways one is direct to Syangmochen via vena or lower way via Chungsi cave your experience guides take you via this way. Another 3:30 hrs  walk takes us to Syanmochen.  On the way, we relax along the surrounding of cool streams and juniper trees. Locals use the dried leaves of junipers as incenses to invite deities and start any auspicious work. (B, L, D)

Day- 07:  Syanmochen to Ghaymi [3520,m/11,546,ft]: 5,hrs

After breakfast we trek uphill to the Yamda La (3,850,m /12,667,ft) passing a few tea houses, chortens and local villages which is like Tibetan style of houses with open Varanda. We cross mountain passes, and an avenue of poplar trees and fields of Barley. The climb to Nyi Pass (4,010,m/13,193,ft) would be a little longer or direct via Geling Descend to  Ghaymi  but this day you will have the lunch at same hotel where you stay an over night(B, L, D)

Day-08:  Ghaymi to Charang [3500,m/11,480,ft]: 4-5 hrs 

Start the trek after breakfast with a pleasant walk.  After crossing Ghaymi Khola, the trail climbs to a plateau and passes beside a very long Mani wall, a sacred stone wall made by the followers Buddhism.  From the end of the wall the trail heads east to the up hill then village of Charang with a maze of fields, willow trees and houses separated by stone walls at the top of the Tsarang Chu canyon.  There is also a huge white dzong and red Gompa to get to your teahouse for tonight's stop. Day- 09:  Charang to Lo-Mangthang (3700,m/12,136,ft): 5-6 hrs 

This day you trek to Lo-Mangthang with a magnificent view of Nilgiri, Tilicho, Annapurna I and Bhrikuti peak. The trail first descends to Charang Chu Canyon and then climbs steeply after crossing the river. Further the trail ascends gently to the 3,850,m windy pass of Lo, from where you can see the Lo-Mangthang Valley. While descending to Lo-Mangthang, views of the walled city appear magnificent with its hills on the Tibetan Border. you stay at hotel for the overnight. (B, L, D)

Day-10:  Explore Lo-Mangthang

It is really a best day for you to visit Lomanthang village and  explore the surrounding areas. today better to go visit Chhoser caves and beautiful villages along the way to Chhoser caves and Gumbas the cave is really amazingly made over the cliff.After such a wonderful tour you will be back to Lomanthang then go to visit Another attraction four- storey building of the Raja's palace as well as the surrounding panoramic views of the Himalaya. Day- 11:  Lo-Mangthang to Dhakmar [3810,m/12,500,ft]: 6-7 hrs 

Your returning from Lo-Mangthan, you take a different route than that we came by. Trek to Drakmar via Ghar with more than 1400 years old Ghar Gompa with Guru Rimpoche as the primary figure. The Gompa is also famous for its rock paintings. According to the legend, anyone who makes one wish at the Ghar Gompa, their wish is fulfilled. explore the local area then continue to Dakmar .Likelihood of dusty wind, so suggested to walk in the morning. Day-12:  Dhakmar to Syanmochen [3806,m/12,484,ft]: 6 hrs 

Today, you get back to Syangmochen as your journey for your overnight stay after a long walk takes 6 hrs. After arrival and lunch enjoy the day exploring the area, but it can be windy in the afternoon, better to walk in evening time or just rest in the hotel. (B, L, D)

DAY 13:  Syangmochen to Chhuksang [3050,m/10,004,ft]: 5-6 hrs 

Your-track back to Chhuksang takes 5-6 hrs walk. You will have wonderful scenery during the journey with a Himalayan view. your trek will be so joyful  on the way down to the tea house (B, L, D)

Day- 14:  Chhuksang to Jomsom [2700,m/8,856,ft]: 6-7 hrs 

Your last day of the trekking would be a long one.  Better to walk early start as before and trek to Kagbeni. Finishing the upper Mustang trails then you join back the normal Annapurna trail. After lunch at Kagbeni will head on to Jomsom for the overnight stop.  (B, L, D)

Day-15:  Fly back to Pokhara

After morning breakfast you will be check in the airport to fly back to Pokhara. then after 30 minutes dramatic flight to Pokhara between gorge of the two huge mountains Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. On arrival at Pokhara airport guide will transfer you direct to the lakeside hotel. Rest of the time you can pass at lakeside, then an overnight at hotel. (B)LD.

Day-16:  fly back to kathmandu.

From this day you are saying bye to all your trekking staffs and you will be pick up in kathmandu airport by our Brave Heart Himalaya Treks staffs direct to the hotel then walk around Thamel or buying gifts for your friends and family,then pack your things.

Day-17:  Departure to  the international airport to fly back your home.

You are saying good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today ! Round Manasalu Trekking in Nepal

 Itinerary Detail.

      Manaslu was declared as a conservation area in 1998 by Nepal government. The Government has handed over the management responsibilities of MCA to National Trust for Nature conservation’ (NTNC) for 10 years. This is one of the second conservation area under the direct management of the trust, it is one of the most beautiful conservation area of Nepal because of the Mt Manaslu 8163,m standing in the background with several other amazing mountains along the Mt Manaslu range. It is also a second biggest restricted conservation area of Nepal after the Annapurna conservation area. it requires guided special permits for the trekkers by the government authorized trekking agency. it has two different special permit systems - as bellow -

1, September to November US$ 7o per week per person and after 7 days US$ 10 per day per person or equivalent convertible foreign currency.

2, From December to August US$ 50 per week per person and after 7 days US$ 7 per day per person or equivalent convertible foreign currency.

      The trekkers can start trekking direct from Kathmandu to Arughat or  Pokhara to Arughat then the trek starts gradually from  570,m altitude from the sea level to 5130,m of Larkya –La.(pass)

 Day-1 : Arrival to International airport, Brave Heart Himalaya Treks's staffs welcome you at the airport/ direct meeting in the hotel at Thamel.

Day-2 :  Kathmandu to Arughat-570,m/Time-7-8 hours by Jeep

     The road is going continue to Dhadingbesi from Kathmandu. Then the road is rough after Dhadingbesi, but it is possible to start trek from pokhara also. so better to hire 4 wheeled  Jeep.Arughat is situated on the banks of the Budhigandaki river. It is a kind of small town separated in two parts from the river. So you can stay either eastern site of Arughat or northern site of this city. You have to cross a bridge to go another part of the city from first part.

Day-3 : Arughat to Lapu Beshi 860m. 7/8 hours.

   Trail goes mostly flat along the Budhi Gandaki river through the villages, Sal(robusta) forest and the waterfalls.

 Day-4 : lapu Beshi to Khorla Beshi -900,m /Time 5 - 6 hours.

     The trail is going gentle up along the cliffs and the villages with rice terraces, sub tropical vegetation with river view. It is a kind of local village located at near the junction of two river. 

Day-5 : Khorla Beshi to Jagat-1300,m/Time 6 hours.

         This day is little harder than previous days because the trail is going up hilland with the sub tropical vegetation and crossing suspension bridges over the Budhi Gandaki. 

 Day-6 : Jagat to Philim, 1600,m, /Time 4 hours.

From this day you are entering  the Manaslu special permit area  so your permits will be checked by a check post controller. Your guide have to register permits in Jagat check post. Then the trail continues gently up again with a lot of marijuana fields along the trail. Then you have to cross  a long suspension bridge over the Budhi Gandaki river beneath Philim Village. The way goes uphill for 20 minutes after the bridge,eventually you will reach in Philim Village. It is one of the biggest and the beautiful village till today from your trekking started.You can visit around the village after your lunch, trekkers information center, a school, and a Buddhist Gumba.


Day-7 : Philim to Deng 1800,m /Time 6 hours.

 Your way continue through some little villages, and narrow trail over the cliff, from the east side of the Budhi Gandaki river, but you have to cross the hanging bridges over the river. The trail is going gently up so there is no problem you can walk on your own good pace. The jungle with some fire berry trees and Marijuana trees can be quite interesting some trekkers used  to spend their time there because of Marijuana if they used to smoke. Specially November  is the best season for  it.

 Day-8 : Deng to Namrung-2660,m/Time : 7/8 hours.

   This day you have to cross 2 different bridges over the Budhi Gandaki river.You need to walk through different vegetation including pine and birch forest. The trail goes uphill in the beginning of the day then you have to go gentle up till Ghap village. It is a kind of Tibet influence small village with some few guest houses but now many other  new hotels are building because of trekkers number rising every year.

Day-9 : Namrung to Lho- 3180,m /Time 4/5 hours.

The way is going into the pine forest where you can see such a huge pine and Conifer, Hemlock and Burch trees. You need to cross back the bridges over Budhi Gandaki river. Then after you will climb for 1 and half hours to the hill top then you will reach to Namrung village. Then the trail goes mostly flat and gently up till Lho via many different beautiful villages with the wonderful mountain view from this village you can see magnificent view of the Mt. Manaslu. It is a big village of this area with a beautiful monastery. If you have time and no feeling of tired you can go to the monastery, otherwise better to go monastery next day morning before your breakfast. After you visit this monastery, have breakfast then continue to Samagaun.

    Day-10 : Lho to Samagaun-3530,m. /Time -3:30 hours 

The way is going gently up to Samagaun. It is a beautiful and large village of this area the village spread on the flat village. You can see several old mountain houses and many yaks also and zhopas the animals mix between yak and cow the people use them for carrying stuffs for the mountain villages.

Day-11 :  Acclimatization day.

Today you will get a wonderful day, if you go to visit Pungen Gompa situated at 4100,m altitude where you will be at the bottom of vertically standing Mt. Manaslu 8163,m. All the visitors feel such a proud to be there once in the life because of the Mountain view from the beneath of high mountains and the Buddhist shrine Gumba, (Pungen Gumba) you need to walk about 2:30 /3,hours to get there. If you do not go there better to go to the Manaslu base camp.

 Day-12 : Samagaun to Samdo,3750,m Time 3:30 hours.

You will start to feel the altitude from this day so better to walk short distance, no problem the way is going very gently up until the river before Samdo village then you need to climb for 30 minutes till this beautiful Samdo village.There are about 30 to 40 local houses and the hotels. After you arrive there, take a lunch then better to go for hiking. It is very good to hike everyday hike high and sleep at low to adjust the climate of the area.

 Day-13 :  Samdo to Dharmasala 4470,m /Time-4, hours.

This day your pace have to be slow on the uphill all may feel more breathless due to altitude better to manage your pace yourself. Rest while you reach at camp take your lunch then go for acclimatization. Probably you can see many mountains wild goats blue sheep.

 Day-14 :  Dharmasala to Vimtang,3720,m.Time, 8/9 hours.

This is your most important day because the Larke pass is your destination or purpose of trekking but you have to start your walking early of morning because of the wind or mountain storm at pass after 10 AM depends on the weather therefore better to cross the pass to be safe from the wind or storm. After 4 hours walking from the Dharmasala you get the pass. It is a wonderful scenic part for the mountains panorama views that you can see quite a wide Himalaya from there. Take photos for few minutes, then proceed your walking along the ridge of the moraine. Eventually you enter the landslide areas can be very dangerous so be quite careful try to follow your guide’s instructions. Then the way goes all the way down till Vimtang.

 Day-15 : Vimtang to Tilje 2600,m /Time 6/7 hours.

This day also is long day walk because of long and hard walking last day. you have trek all the way down through the beautiful paradise forest of conifers, Burch, Maple, and Rhododendrons etc. You can see such a beautiful jungle as of the ferry tale.After you arrive the hotel then take a rest.

Day-16 : Tilje to Syange 1100m. 7 hours

The way is very easy going all the way down so you feel more easy to continue your walking cross some hanging bridges and the villages with Marijuana plants till Dharapani village where your ACAP permits will be check. The junction between the way to Manang Annapurna circle  route and the exit point of Manaslu trekking thereafter your trek continue down to Syange village.

Day-17 : Syange to Beshi sahar by jeep then Pokhara /kathmandu by Van or car depends on size of the group.

This day you will do a fare well dinner with your all trekking staffs. then you take your time for different activities in pokhara or Kathmandu.

Jomsom is one of the extraordinary trekking route of the Annapurna region, because of its enchanting dry landscape and the physiographic. The trekking route is hidden inside the two different over 8000m mountains valley Mt, Dhaulagiri in the west of the valley and the Mt, Annapurna Himalaya range in the east, it is an easy valley to inter the neighborhood country  Tibet(China) .It is more popular area even for the local and Indian pilgrims because of it's Buddhist and Hindu shrines, It is a district headquarter town of Mustang district, that it has all facilities for Hotels, restaurants, airport motor able road, police, military, post office, health post, tourist information center,  internet ATM and banks etc.

Day 01: arrival to Kathmandu,1350,m.

The staffs of Brave Heart Himalaya Treks Pvt,Ltd welcome you In Tribhuwan international airport (TIA) you continue to the Hotel  at Thamel, you will have tea time in the hotel there after rest, then you will have dinner in any restaurant.

Day 02: Departure to Pokhara,820,m.

5/6,hrs by luxurious tourist Bus, 26 minutes by Flight/4,hrs by  Van/Car.

Your journey by bus/Van/car will be very nice along the Trisuli river,  24,minutes by air,  the  van pick you up to the hotel lakeside from the tourist bus park, or airport or direct to thehotel  if  you are coming by car or Van,you can take shower then go to the lake side for walk then small meeting with the trek staffs, then  go to the restaurant for dinner early evening , back to the hotel rest then go to the bed.

Day 03: Fly to Jomsom 2700,m 2670.

Your flight will be 18 minutes to jomsom then you continue to Marpha 1:30, hours for your first night, better to go little bit lower this day to adjust the high altitude. it is an apple kingdom of this area, it is very beautiful congested Thakali village, you can explore the village this day and visit the Gumpa, school, an apple juice factory, established by a German technology, horticulture centre and the Brandy distillery 5minutes time further down of the village these are the reason Marpha is visit able village for all the visitors when you are here.

Day 04: Marpha to Kagbeni 2800,m 4:30,hours.

 After visiting of Marpha village your destination to Kagbeni village, the people and the cultures of this village are Tibetan influence, therefore it is hard to understand the language the people speak in this area, although the people speak good Nepali language and English who do business, you wouldn’t feel easy to walk this afternoon because of the wind you never expected. You get rest in the hotel when you are there till the wind stop not sure may be the wind stop by 5 pm, if so you can go to visit Kagbeni village.

Day 05: Exploring day.

 Better to visit the real mountain villages of this beautiful area. first in the morning you go to the oldest Gompa 582 year old of this village, you will be participate on worship ceremony with the monks in the morning then go back to your hotel, take break fast ,there after your journey start to the Tiri village which is situated at the banks of the Kaligandaki River you climb 15,minutes to reach the Tiri Gumba 680 year old, which is standing on the lap of the desert hillock there after you visit Tiri village go in to a local house the people feel so happy to be with you, they can offer you some Tibetan Tea with their hospitality which may impress you very much, Then you go back to your hotel in Kagbeni ,and spend your rest time in the hotel.

Day 06: Kagbeni to Zhong 3660,m time 4 hours.

 The way is going gently up, now there is a road built along the old local trail but you can see quite rare motors on the way, so no stress from the motors. The mountains view is magnificent from here, you will visit tiny putak typical mountain village on the way to Jhong, then you go to jhong and take a lunch leave your luggage in the room then go for sightseeing to see the real beauty of jhong village and a beautifl Maonastery og the village.

Day 07: Jhong to Muktinath, 3800,m 2 hours.

You continue to Purang village where you can visit an old Gompa then your destination is Muktinath. The Muktinath is a popular shrine place of Nepal whether for Buddhists or Hindus several visitors used to go here to see it’s natural and cultural beauty, it is also a junction of the trekkers who come down from the other side of the Annapurna Himalaya Manang over the high pass Thorong-La. So this village always used to be busy of visitors except winter season. You can visit there the shrine area, temples, Gumbas, natural flames, Nunnery Gombas etc.

Day 08: Muktinath to Jharkot 3600,m 20 minutes.

This day you can visit some other small beautiful mountain villages Purang and Jharkot an old Gompa, so better to stay an over night in this village.

Day 09: Jharkot/Lubhra /Jomsom,5 /6 hours.

This day also is very beautiful day for you that you have to walk on the desert, along the dried climatic vegetation, then you will  enter to the small valley, after that you walk down to the stream.Then you reach to the Lubra village it is a Tiny mountain village standing on the lap of Rocky hill, take your lunch here then you can continue to Jomsom for 2 hours. Your trip ends  in jomsom, your flight tickets have to be re-confirmed from the trekking office or by your Guide.

Day 10: Jomsom to Pokhara.

Your flight will be in any time of morning from 6 to 10 or 11 am to pokhara for 16 minutes, this day you will rest in pokhara. Just the evening time your guide and porters will be with you in the restaurant for farewell dinner.

Day 11: sightseeing in Pokhara.

Pokhara is a naturally beautiful place in Nepal an extra ordinary place in the world, it has so many different places for visit, like Fewa lake, Davi’s fall, Gupteshwor mahadev cave, world peace pagoda, Seti gorge,  Matepani Gumba, Vindavasini temple and international mountain museum etc. you can do paragliding also, Paragliding is the best from pokhara if you have extra day to be in pokhara.

Day 12: Go back to Kathmandu.

This day you are going back to Kathmandu by flight 28 minutes, better to fly in morning because you have to do half day tour in Kathmandu after you the hotel. This day your Guide will take you to the Hanuman dhokadarwar square, Patandarwar square,Baudhanath listed in UNESCO site, back to Thamel buy souvenirs for your family and friends then packing. 

Day 13: Rest and departure to international airport.

This is your last day in Nepal you, so you need to be ready to departure to the international airport,to go back your home with a lot's of experiences from the mountains trekking with our teams.

Ghorepani Ghandruk Trekking Itinerary Detail

 Day-1, Arrival in Tribhuvan international airport, welcome by our staffs then go to the hotel by car/jeep or van.

Day-2, kathmandu to pokhara by flight/Tourist bus/car/van.

Day-3,Pokhara to Hile, Drive to Nayapul by Bus, Van or Car trek to Hill 1515m 3 to 4 hours.

         Nayapul is a place where most of the trekking of the Annapurna region starts from, it is situated on the middle of the Baglung Beni high way, 42 km far North West of Pokhara. Most of the trekkers prefer to start trekking via clock wise of this small circle trek. You have to walk along the Bhurungdi Khola (stream) the vegetation of sub tropical climate, first day better to trek early not to feel difficult so you stay in this village the way is very easy because of road built.

Day-4,Hile to Ghorepani-2870m 7 hours

   Your second day will be bit harder because of the uphill path, you need cross 2 little suspension bridges over the streams after 20 minutes walking from hill, then you have climb 2 hours till Ulleri a big Magar village there after your trekking goes gentle up along the village and lunch break in banthanti then you go into the rain forest area mix of Rhododendron, until Ghorepani this area is very popular for the Rhododendron.

Day-5,Ghorepani to Tadapani 2700m 6 hours

 You need to wake up early in the morning to go to poon hill for sunrise your guides suggest you about time to go poon hill. Time takes about 1 hour to get top of it 3210,m then take photo graph of panorama view from there ,you can see 3 different over of 8000,m mountain ranges, and back to Ghorepani take a breakfast then continue to Tadapani. Through the rhododendron forest mix of conifer forest, hem lock and birch, maple then you have to follow all the way down the narrow valley with breezy air .hen you have to cross a small bridge climb for 40 minutes then you reach Tadapani.

Day-6, Tadapani Ghandruk 1939m 3 to 4 hours.

  This day is very easy day that you do not need to climb any up hills the way is going very gently down through the forest till Ghandruk village. You take a hotel and lunch, there after you go for village sightseeing, that you visit such a big typical Gurung Village you can visit, Buddhist gompa, health post, tourist information centre local museums and farming fields etc, The Mt Fishtail view can be clearer from here.

Day-7, Ghandruk to Pokhara 6 hours .

  The way is gently down till Syauli bazaar then the way is very flat along the road till Nayapul this day you can see beautiful rice terraces along the way down to Syauli bazaar. Probably you take lunch in Syauli bazaar or at Birethanti then you take the vehicle drive to Pokhara.

Day-8, Sight seeing- you do sightseeing around the city.

Day: 9, Back to Kathmandu.

Day-10, Rest and departure to the international airport to go back to your home with a lot of experiences about Nepal and the Himalaya.

From this day Nepali will be only in your memory and Photos.

     The Annapurna Base camp is situated on the north of the Pokhara valley, foot trail along the Modi River till the up spring of this  River, it is also listed in one the most beautiful, trekking destination of Nepal for the mountain lover trekkers, where the visitors may see the piece of the mountain Heaven because of the magnificent view of the high mountains, near to your face, in very short aerial distance. You can see the real nature with its diverse terrain and the variety nature and culture when you are on the trekking.

The Annapurna base camp trekking requires minimum 7 to 12 days including Ghorepani poon hill, culturally this region is influenced by the Gurung and Magar culture, but you can see the cultures both Buddhism and Hindus, with cultural toleration between them.  Your trekking slightly go high from Nayapul 1000m, altitude till 4130m height of the   Annapurna base camp.

We are a great and succeed trekking team of Nepal originally come from the mountains and hilly regions of Nepal, have been working in the tourism of Nepal for many years,as the  trekking Sherdar,Guides, porters,climbing guides sherpas etc, that we had been working through different trekking companies and individually.
